About Me

Nicholas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual, couples and family therapy in Champaign, IL. With over 22 years of experience as a psychotherapist, he is a graduate of the University of Illinois specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and LGBTQIA Affirming Therapy. He is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.

Among his areas of expertise are relationship issues, anxiety, depression, play therapy, sexual orientation issues, gender identity issues, grief, and chronic health issues. In addition to being an experienced relationship therapist, Nicholas has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of sexual orientation and gender identity issues.

Nicholas is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support, skills, and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
